The Odesa Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture was founded in 1994 with the aim of promoting and disseminating the Greek language and culture in Ukraine.
The Odesa Branch was founded in 1994. For its purposes, the Odesa City Council provided three buildings for a nominal rent, one of which was the historic house of Grigorios Maraslis, where the members of the Philiki Etaireia (Society of Friends) met. The purpose of the branch is to promote and disseminate the Greek language and culture in Ukraine. The branch shows important educational activity, revolving mainly around the Museum of the Philiki Etaireia.
