and Literary Magazines

The project of digitizing the contents of important literary magazines and the creation of an electronic library was implemented by EKEBI with funds from the Operational Programme “Information Society” (Third Community Support Framework), under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture (public co-financing 75% from the ERDF and 25% from the Ministry of Culture).
The magazines “Nea Estia”, “Odos Panos”, “Planodion”, “Periplous”,, “I Lexi”, “Oropedio”, “Intellectum” and “To Dentro”were digitized as part of the project. These are the magazines that responded directly to the implementation of the project by granting permission to digitize and upload their back issues, starting from the year of their establishment up to the date indicated by each one of them.

Through the “Fylla“ (Leaves) column, as it was called, it sought to make a kind of intervention in intellectual matters. At the same time, being in touch with foreign, contemporary literary production, “To Dentro“ made sure to publish reviews, information and comments on it in the “Anagnoseis“ (Readings) column. In time, other columns were created, which hosted articles on cinema, music, theatre and philology.
