Founded in 1995, it is active in Berlin and throughout Germany and the German-speaking area of Central Europe, in cooperation with diplomatic authorities, local organizations, cultural institutes of other countries and organizations of the German-speaking community. It participates in and co-organizes major events in Germany for the promotion of Greek culture and its activities extend to almost all areas of German cultural life.
