
Archipelagos: raising the unseen stories
Led by ATLAS in France, the Archipelagos project has eight main partners from seven countries in Europe, working in ten languages. They have chosen to join forces to support literary translators unearth new voices and to share these with book chain professionals and the public.
Open Call : 2026 Archipelagos residencies for literary translators
The residencies enable translators to work as literary scouts: to research texts in lesser-published languages that have not yet been translated and to create a portfolio of projects to present to publishing houses.
Literary translators working to/from Greek may be eligible, within the following combinations:
