Anthi holds PhD on LIS, master\u2019s degree on the Management of Cultural Organizations and \u00a0Bachelor on Political sciences.<\/p>

She is director of the University of Piraeus Library (2011- ) and was director of the Technical University of Crete Library (1985-2003).<\/p>

She was an adjunct professor on LIS at TEI of Athens (University of West Attica) (2001-2011) and on the Management of Cultural Organizations at HOU (2017-23).<\/p>

She organizes international scientific conferences on the Library and Information Science (IATUL 1999, IFLA Satellite 2010 <\/em>\u03ba\u03b1\u03b9<\/em> 2019, EBLIDA 2022<\/em>, Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries<\/em>– QQML, s<\/em>ince 2009). She acts as Chief Editor of the QQML e-journal<\/em> and the Springer Nature Advanced Applications on Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Information Science<\/em>. <\/em>She is also member of the editorial board of the Journal of Web Librarianship <\/em>and has been editor of publications of DeGrauyter and World Scientific.<\/p>

Her research interests include library management and human resources, the future of libraries, the impact of technology on, the strengths of Library Associations, and the reading society.<\/p>

She is President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists and Committee Member of the IFLA Europe Regional Division.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
