She has written two novels, two collections of short stories, a book for children and has participated in collective works. She was nominated for the <em>Diav\u00e1zo<\/em> magazine\u2019s New Writer Award for her first book, <em>Eleven Little Murders: Stories Inspired by Nick Cave Songs <\/em>(2008). In 2021 Tzanakaris\u2019 book, <em>Adelfiko,<\/em> was shortlisted for the <em>anagnostis<\/em> Novel Prize, the Athens Prize for Literature of the Greek Journal \u00a0<em>(de)kata <\/em>and the <em>Klepsydra<\/em> magazine\u2019s Prize.
